Joe  is the President with  over 25 years of experience in business building and people management.

 He is an entrepreneur known for building strong successful businesses and putting leadership in plae that help the business excel and grow very quickly.

Joe graduated from The University of Alabama in 1995, with a degree in Business Management Information Systems.

After graduating he spent 26 years as an Executive at UPS, Joe opened a chain of pharmacies and an Urgent Care/Primary Care Clinic.  In 2021, he and Amy opened Lush MedSpa.

Joe currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with his wife, Amy, and four children. (Joe has plans to expand the Lush MedSpa network and other related entities.

Amy Shirley is the owner and primary Nurse Practitioner of Lush Medspa and Lush Wellness Center.

 Amy has consistently been in the top 3 candidates for the best medical provider in the Tuscaloosa County area for the past four years.

Amy Graduated from the University of Alabama School of Nursing in 2007.  She worked as a Cardiac Intensive Care RN for 5 years.  In 2014, she graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a master’s in nursing or Nurse Practitioner degree.  She is accredited by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

After graduating, she spent 7 years in urgent care and family medicine before opening Allegra Family Clinic.  In 2020, she started Lush MedSpa and Wellness Center.

Amy currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with husband, Joe, and four children.  Amy is dedicated to caring for each of her patients in the manner that has helped her meet and exceed all patient satisfaction goals.  She is your friend in the healthcare and aesthetics business.

With three years of experience in aesthetics, Destiny Seitz is dedicated to helping clients feel comfortable, beautiful, and relaxed. A 2012 Tuscaloosa County High School graduate, Destiny spent over six years as a phlebotomist at MedCenter before joining Lush to pursue her passion for aesthetics.

Destiny is known for building genuine bonds with her clients, treating them as friends. She does it all with care and expertise, whether it’s lashes, facials, or laser hair removal. Outside of work, she loves supporting her stepson in his sports endeavors and is excitedly awaiting the arrival of her baby boy in 2025.

Hi there! I’m Lynette Coker.  I’m a CRNP originally from Coker, AL, living in Northport, AL. I’m passionate about traveling and spending time with my family, and I have been involved in the nursing industry for 30 years. When I’m not working, I enjoy being on the lake, traveling,  and spending time with family and friends. I have been married to my husband, Jason, for 30 years, and we have three grown children and one French Bulldog. I’m always looking for new opportunities and ways to grow professionally and personally.

Hello! I am Irma Higginbotham, a  Board Certified  Family Medicine Physician. I have been working in my profession for more than 20 years. I graduated from  The University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency Program. I have been treating students as a Family Medicine Physician at the University of Alabama Student Health Center since 2006. 

Approximately ten years ago, I became very interested in Aesthetics. Starting first with injections of Botox, and each year, I added fillers, bio stimulators, PDO Threads, and other rejuvenating products, mastering my skills on friends, family members, and myself. Yes, that is right; I do aesthetic injections on myself 😊.  

I am Board Certified in Procedural Medicine and love to do Aesthetics. My objective is to boost people’s self-esteem by improving their personal appearance by using my skills, abilities, and talents. I take time and a personal approach to each patient. My heart smiles when I see someone thrilled to see themselves in a mirror after working together.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing sports, listening to music, learning about different cultures, and spending time with my family.

Over the past three years, Dr. Christensen has shifted her focus to aesthetic medicine, discovering a deep passion for helping clients enhance their natural beauty.

Dr. Christensen is affiliated with leading medspas in both Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, where she provides personalized aesthetic treatments. Her approach is client-centered—she ensures every patient feels comfortable, understands their options, and has realistic, achievable expectations. By developing individualized treatment plans, Dr. Christensen empowers her clients to feel confident in their aesthetic journey.

Currently residing in Tuscaloosa with her husband and four children, Dr. Christensen enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, sports events, and concerts, exercising, and traveling as much as possible.
